Akbar Ebrahimi received the B.Sc. degree from Amir Kabir University, Tehran, Iran, in 1979, M.Sc. degree from University of Manchester, Institute of Science and Technology (UMIST), Manchester, U.K., in 1985, and Ph.D. Degree from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, in 1994, all in electrical power engineering. Currently, he is an associate professor at Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran. His research interests are power system operation, reliability evaluation, and planning with applications of artificial intelligence and Bayesian analysis
